At Swissaustral, we characterize microbial communities in soil and liquid samples to support environmental impact assessment studies. We offer an end-to-end service, from field sampling to the final results report, or we can work with samples your team has already collected.

Using advanced metabarcoding techniques, we extract, amplify, and sequence the genetic material present in the samples to identify bacteria, archaea, microalgae, and other eukaryotic microorganisms.

We combine these results with bioinformatics analysis to characterize the composition and diversity of the microbial communities in each sample. Our findings are delivered in a final report to support the microbiological characterization of the environment under study
